Duncan Macgillivray Re-Elected as Treasurer of OTLA
At the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association Annual General Meeting on May 31, 2019, Duncan Macgillivray was re-elected as Treasurer of OTLA.
OTLA is an organization of 1,500 trial lawyers and law clerks that champion and advocate for the rights of those who have suffered injury and loss through the wrongdoing of others. OTLA does amazing work in educating trial lawyers, advocating for victims and lobbying for positive change in the insurance system.
Duncan is entering his 5th year on the Board of Directors as the representative from Northwestern Ontario. This will be Duncan’s second year as Treasurer. As Treasurer, Duncan is part of OTLA’s Executive and is in charge of fundraising for the organization.
As far we as we know, Duncan is the first lawyer from Thunder Bay to be Treasurer of OTLA.
